The Academies at Englewood is a magnet public high school established in 2002 that offers five academies for students of exceptional merit. The five focuses are Law and Public Safety, Information Systems, Pre-Engineering Design, Finance and Biomedicine.

Englewood high school students also may apply on a competitive basis to attend the public Bergen County Technical High Schools in Teterboro and Paramus and Bergen County Academies in Hackensack. The latter includes seven magnet high school programs, each featuring a different career focus. Businessweek magazine has rated Bergen County Academies as the best high school in New Jersey.
